As part of the Week of Gastronomy, So French So Good 2016, Israel Institute offers intensive French moviegoers an evening honoring film and French gastronomy:
7pm – Cine
Screening of the film Entre les Bras, cooking legacy of Paul Lacoste (2011)
The film is a wonderful tribute to Michel Bras, the head of the three-star restaurant in Laguiole Suquet, elected in 2016 best chef in the world by his peers.
The film takes us into the culinary world of Michel Bras, rich in miracles taste like the famous Gargouillou, composed of forty vegetables, leaves, herbs and seasonal bulbs. It’s also a terrific father transmission history (Michel) to son (Sebastian).
The film will be introduced by a short presentation in French and Hebrew Stéphane Kerber , film expert and lecturer at the University of Tel Aviv.
9pm – Dinner
Gourmet Dinner in Da Da Da restaurant prepared by French chef baker Ridha Khadher and chief Gali Friedman .
A gourmet dish: salmon quiche and broccoli or vegetable quiche, accompanied by a salad with gorgonzola and carrot cream
Gourmet coffee (coffee and sweets)
Pastry choice: strawberry, milfoil in raspberry, Royal chocolate, Little Anthony or cabbage head
Price: 95 nis (or 75 nis for members)
